Enchanted Miracle with CSU 2008, is a model and talent competition, searching for the next potential model among youths in Greater Vancouver area. Throughout the competition, the potential models will, in his/her interests, gain confidence on stage and recognition of their talents to the general public. A number of 8-10 contestants will be chosen through our auditions in May-June period and proceed onto our final show at the Norman Rothstein Theatre on September 20th, 2008.
The winner of the competition will receive* a 1-year modeling contract with our co-organizer – Mabel Culture Dissemination, a professional photo-shoot portfolio, a cash prize of $300 and a chance to be on the cover of NewYou Magazine.
Co-Organizer – Mabel Culture Dissemination Ltd. Mabel Culture Dissemination Ltd. is a company that promotes Chinese culture in the Greater Vancouver community. Each year, many of its signed artists are invited to perform at local shows and events in western Canada. The most recent recognizable event was the Beijing Olympics show at River Rock Casino in Spring 2008.
Charity. All profits receive from the operation of the competition as well as the sponsorship will be contributed to the new pediatric program at the Richmond Hospital, funding under The Richmond Hospital Foundation. Meanwhile, CSU intends to strengthen the connection between students from different educational institutions, and to tighten the bonding within the local Chinese community through this particular event.
